The Poodle, while thought to be dumb, is actually a smart dog. The poodle also comes in three sizes: the standard (more than 15" at the shoulder), minature (over ten inches but under 15") and toy (ten inches or less). These two characteristics help to explain the Poodle's popularity. This breed can adapt to any size of home, and has a hypoallergenic coat, wwhich can help lessen allergic reactions. However, the Poodle is an active breed, and must have daily exercise. They are also susceptable to getting bored easily, and are known for getting creative in causing mischief.
